THE

MAGIC BAY

We couldn’t be more excited to share this special place with you...

Imsouane’s Magic Bay, where time seems to stand still as 800m right-handers peel beneath cliffs as gold as the setting sun.

It’s here that Oumono Club first took shape through skate meet-ups, donation based yoga sessions and charity dinners beneath the stars. It’s also where we hosted our very first all-girls paddle out, surrounded by laughter, dolphins(!!!) and the kind of energy that makes you feel like you’re walking on cloud 9 for the days and days that follow...

7 days on retreat

Some mornings begin with a glassy sunrise surf; others ease in slowly with coffee, breakfast and a stretch by the pool before heading down to the water. Daily surf sessions are guided by Maryam El Gardoum and the local coaches from Surf Hub, with personalised feedback in the water, plus daily video analysis, surf theory workshops and surf skate classes designed to build confidence, technique and flow.

Between surfs, we refuel with fresh, home-cooked meals at the villa, with a few evenings spent exploring the best local restaurants in the village. Midweek, we’ll head out on a day trip to experience more of Morocco’s landscape and culture. We close each day with grounding yoga to stretch, restore and reset — ready to do it all again tomorrow!

OUR WEEK TOGETHER

Between surf, skate, yoga and nourishing meals, each day has been carefully curated to help you recharge, grow and connect with yourself and your Oumono sisters. We’ve packed the week with coaching, theory workshops and activities to support your surfing progression.

Here’s a little glimpse of what’s ahead...

Dar Zitoun

Meaning “House of Olives,” this is our Oumono surf oasis perched high on the hill above the Magic Bay.

Wake up to the sound of waves below, pour yourself a coffee and watch the first sets of the day roll in beneath the breath-taking cliffs.

After a day of gliding and dancing through the bay, we’ll watch your surf clips in the cosy living room, practice paddle techniques in the pool, explore the surroundings and share Moroccan tea with your surf sisters on the most stunning terrace Imsouane has to offer.

Complete with talented chefs, the kindest concierge crew and an adorable house dog, Dar Zitoun is the perfect surf sanctuary for our Oumono Club retreat and we can’t wait to share this beautiful home with you!

Our shared rooms are spacious and perfect for friends or solo travellers looking to connect. Each room has a traditional Moroccan design, two comfortable beds, its own shower and toilet as well as an outdoor space with mountain, ocean or garden views.

The private suites are your secluded oasis for post-surf bliss and plenty of space to unwind. With ensuite bathrooms, these rooms provide complete luxury and privacy to help make your week extra special. Please note that we only have two of these rooms available, so be quick if you'd like to make one of them yours for the week!

As an athlete, coach and founder of DIHYA SURF SCHOOL, Maryam brings years of ocean knowledge, technical expertise and empowering female leadership to every session.

Alongside Maryam, the team at Surf Hub Imsouane brings deep local knowledge of The Magic Bay, helping you find the right waves, at the right time, with safety and progression at the heart of every session.

Whether you’re catching your first wave or refining your skills, our coaching is designed to meet you where you are and help you progress with confidence. Female-focused coaching, local expertise, sisterhood and plenty of surf.

Morocco Guidebook

Best friends, surf sisters and the heart of Oumono Club — we’ve spent the last decade chasing waves side-by-side, from surf camps in European summers to winter escapes in North Africa and Indonesia.

Courts is the team’s organiser (we call her “the Courtaniser”), she’s a British mermaid who swapped the 9-to-5 for a career of Surf Guiding in the Tropics and constant salty hair (RIP the long healthy locks). Her fun-loving nature keeps the energy high and everyone smiling.

Myks is the team’s cheerleader — a funky sock enthusiast from the North who left the cold behind for a life of wetsuits instead of winter coats. You’ll hear her “woop-woop”s echoing from the lineup as she celebrates every wave you catch. Loud laughs, endless encouragement and contagious stoke guaranteed!

Our souls are fuelled by surfing, sunshine and really good food — but our favourite part is you. The incredible women who join us, bringing new friendships, laughter and plenty of stoke along the way. We can’t wait to share waves, stories and golden Moroccan sunsets with you.
